Robert J. Reed, CFP®
Robert J. Reed has been providing financial and estate planning services to individuals and businesses since 1978. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in 1971. He has been licensed to use the Certified Financial Planner certification since 1981. Bob is a member of the National Association of Professional Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the fee-only financial planning organization. He was the first NAPFA member in Louisiana. Bob continues to champion the Fee-Only financial planner certification mark designed to reduce consumer confusion about the identity of true Fee-Only financial planners.
He has been contributed to articles for Money magazine and other financial publications. He was cited as “one of the most qualified financial planners in the United States” in Money magazine in 1987 and 1988, and in Worth magazine’s list of top financial planners in 1997 and 1998. Medical Economics has chosen Reed for their listing of “America's Best Financial Advisors”. He was named one of America's "Top Wealth Managers" by Bloomberg magazine in 2002 and 2003. He is a life member of the National Registry of Who’s Who published in the 2001 edition.
Bob is a member of the Tuscaloosa Rotary Club and is a Past President of the Covington Rotary Club. In addition, he has held Board positions for numerous civic and professional organizations. A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Bob and his wife Camille, have two children, Olivia and Bryson.

Lauren Gadkowski Lindsay, CFP®
Lauren Lindsay, CFP, is the Director of Financial Planning, and focuses on fee-only, comprehensive financial planning for both individuals and corporate clients. Lauren enjoys helping clients establish and realize their financial goals, and providing the objective overview that fee-only planning allows for. As a former high school teacher, client education is a priority of Lauren’s and she has delivered financial education seminars around the country.
Prior to joining Personal Financial Advisors, Lauren worked in Boston, Massachusetts as a fee-only planner with her own firm, Beacon Financial Planning and Compass Planning Associates. Before that, Lauren was employed at Putnam Investments in Boston where she earned numerous awards for client services. Her Putnam experience included servicing Institutional 401(k) client services, and she traveled and presented to corporate clients nationally. She also worked in Human Resources on the 401(K) and EDC plans, as well as assisted Marsh and McLennan employees and their families through the Putnam Preferred Access group. Before joining the financial planning profession, Lauren taught high school English and Drama in London, England. She has been in the financial planning field since 1998.
Lauren is a member of NAPFA, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, a national organization of fee-only financial planners. She is the Treasurer of the William B. Travis Foundation and is the Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Houston Heights Woman’s Club. She belongs to the Junior League of Houston, Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Association, the Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) and is an administrator for Heights Kids Group. She is active in the Woodland Heights Civic Association, and works on the annual Lights in the Heights Celebration, as well as volunteering for the Travis Elementary PTA. She has created teaching content for the online CFP course at Boston University, and is a graduate of Joe Hurley’s 529 Boot Camp for Advisors. With her teaching background, she brings a unique perspective to the challenge of financial planning. She has instructed classes on financial education topics for local colleges and corporations nationwide, such as PepsiCo, Bose and Harvard University. Lauren has also been quoted in national periodicals on financial topics, including CNBC.com, Financial Advisor, The Journal of Financial Planning, Self, Money Magazine, Financial Advisor Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal and U.S News and World Reports, as well as on the online web journal at Bankrate.com.

Joan is the Senior Financial Advisor at Personal Financial Advisors. Joan has a wealth of industry experience, a passion for financial planning, and for serving her clients. She started in the financial services industry in 1984 at American Express Financial Advisors and in 2002 moved over to SagePoint Financial (formerly SunAmerica and AIG Financial Advisors) to be able to offer her clients a larger range of services.
Joan's work includes comprehensive planning for individuals to determine cash flow needs, forecasting future income needs, tax, accumulation, retirement, insurance and estate planning as well as charitable giving. She enjoys working with clients to individualize solutions for their financial concerns, and especially with clients who are in transition. Her clients appreciate her direct approach and the empathy she brings to her role. She especially likes coordinating with estate planning attorneys to assist clients with their estate issues.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in 1976. In 1987, she received the Certified Financial Planner designation. In 2001, she earned the additional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. She is currently enrolled in the Sudden Money Institute™ pursuing the designation of a Certified Financial Transitionist™ (CeFT).
Very active in the financial community, Joan has previously served on the board of the local chapter of the Financial Planning Association, was president of the Association of Employee Benefit Planners in New Orleans, and is a member of NAPFA the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. She has taught financial literacy in a local battered women’s shelter and in schools through Junior Achievement. In 2014 and 2015 she has received the Five Star Wealth Manger award featured in New Orleans magazine. She has also contributed to articles in national publications.
Joan Cox is a native of Louisiana and has resided on the Northshore since 1987. She and her husband Greg have a son and daughter. In her free time she enjoys listening to jazz, big band, funk and 60s music, especially live. She loves to travel.

Kimberly Crawford is the Director of Operations for Personal Financial Advisors. She assists in the processing and tracking of many types of account activity including account establishment, maintenance, transfers, day-to-day client account requests as well as providing general office support.

Greg Dennie is the Client Service Specialist for Personal Financial Advisors. He works in the operations side of the business and supports the advisors whenever assistance is needed.
Greg is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University He earned a Bachelor's of Science in Sport Administration, along with a minor in Business Administration. While enrolled at LSU he served as Treasurer of the Student Organization for Sport Management for two semesters. He also was a member of the Phi SigmaTheta National Honor Society and made the College of Education's Dean's List three out of four eligible semesters. After graduating he gained experience working in the accounting, construction, medical and insurance industries before joining PFA in 2015. Finance has always been a major interest of his and something he strives to learn about every day. He is excited to be involved with such a great team and looks forward to growing his career here at Personal Financial Advisors.
